Projects for Support Engineers for 2010

Top Four Project Resource Planning

Summary
  1. Craig Okuda will be close to full allocation in quarter 1. He will still have time for support tasks (microwave/radios), but not other project time for first two quarters (realistically).
  2. Kevin Gomes is over-allocated for Q1 and Q2 by 124 hours/quarter. It will be assumed that Gomes will be fully allocated to SURF and MUCE for Q1 and Q2. This should be OK as group lead tasks should be lighter as start of year. Other impact is that SSDS support tasks might have to fall on McCann.

Assumptions:

  1. Support engineers normal allocation is 120 days(960 hours)/year
  2. Divided across quarters is 240 hours/quarter
  3. Support Group Lead will be allocated same as other support engineers but the 1/3 time will be towards overhead and support instead of just support
